Pro-crypto politicians are making significant gains in the ongoing US elections, with early results indicating strong support for candidates who champion digital assets. In the House of Representatives, 220 pro-crypto candidates were elected, surpassing the 106 elected officials opposed to crypto initiatives, according to Stand With Crypto.

In Senate races, pro-crypto candidates are also showing promising results as Republicans regain control of the Senate. So far, fourteen candidates strongly in favor of crypto have been elected, compared to nine who are opposed to it. Notably, in Ohio, Republican Bernie Moreno, a staunch crypto advocate, won the Senate seat with 45.82% of the vote, defeating incumbent Sherrod Brown, who is staunchly opposed to crypto.

As of press time, the Pennsylvania Senate race is being closely watched. Pro-crypto Republican Dave McCormick is leading with 44.37% of the vote against Democrat Bob Casey Jr., who has a neutral stance on crypto. Similarly, in Arizona, the two leading candidates – Democrat Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake – are strong supporters of crypto, garnering 28.81% and 25.41% of the vote, respectively.

In Massachusetts, incumbent Senator Elizabeth Warren, known for her strong opposition to crypto, was re-elected with 35.59% of the vote. She defeated Republican John Deaton, a pro-crypto candidate who received 22.26% of the vote.

The Michigan Senate race is very competitive, with two pro-crypto candidates: Democrat Elissa Slotkin and Republican Mike Rogers. Slotkin narrowly leads with 32.53% of the vote, closely followed by Rogers with 32.45%. The outcome of this race could further influence the legislative approach to crypto regulation.

In House races, pro-crypto candidates are also making headway. In Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, Republican Zach Nunn, a staunch crypto supporter, was declared the winner with 48.88% of the vote. He defeated Democrat Lanon Baccam, who had no stated position on crypto.

These election results highlight a growing acceptance of crypto in the political sphere. The growing number of pro-crypto candidates winning seats suggests a potential shift in lawmakers’ attitudes toward regulating digital assets.

Per Stand With Crypto, data reflects updates as of 06:10 GMT on November 6, with vote counting continuing overnight. The findings could further strengthen crypto advocates’ presence in Congress, influencing the direction of crypto legislation and its adoption nationwide.

Bitcoin has reached a new all-time high as the chances of Republicans taking control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives look increasingly possible.

UPDATE 06:29 GMT: Fox News has now called the AP for Trump, closing the door to a Harris victory if other sources confirm it. Bitcoin recorded another all-time high of $75,300 on the news.
