World Economic Forum 2025: new President Trump is expected at WEF 2025 next week. What does the World Economic Forum mean for crypto?
Ah, it’s that time of year again – World Economic Forum 2025 – where billionaires preach austerity, and once a year, Davos, Switzerland becomes the ultimate cosplay for saving the world.
As Plato said: “The punishment suffered by wise men who refuse to participate in government is to live under the government of worse men.” »
This year’s 47th president, Donald Trump, is expected to speak at the upcoming World Economic Forum shortly after his inauguration on January 20.
Here are three ideas proposed by WEF founders Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Yuval Noah Harari and other billionaires over the years, all taken directly from their speeches or from the official WEF website.
1. China is a “model”
I don’t believe all the negative stories that come my way about China, because the US government is Orwellian in its own way.
That said, when you recently saw thousands of Chinese citizens marching in the streets, breaking down anti-COVID-19 barriers and shouting, “We are not slaves!” We are citizens! you probably shouldn’t say it’s a model for many countries, as Klaus Schwab just did.

China effortlessly scores 9 points out of a potential 100 on the International Index of Freedom. Freedom is there.
As the New York Times reported Thursday in an article titled Breach of the Great silence: the demonstrations push Chinese censorship to its limits: “The sheer amount of footage speaks to the deep anger in China over the country’s exceptionally strict Covid policies which have affected hundreds of millions of people…”
2. The WEF states that a good life does not have to be happy, or even meaningful
Recently, the WEF promoted a new article published in the American Psychological Association’s journal Psychological Review, suggesting how to live a good life. Yes, the good life… have you heard? It is not focused on happiness or purpose, but rather on living a “psychologically rich” life.
What is a psychologically rich life?
It is characterized by “interesting experiences in which profound shifts in perspective accompany novelty and/or complexity.”
All of this is a subliminal message for a life where meaning, purpose, money and joy are not priorities. This is what the rich and bored billionaires of the WEF claim.
3. Hate speech determined by AI
The WEF wants to end hate speech by launching an AI system that will sift through conversations using context and sentiment to determine what hate speech is.
Miraculously, it will even be able to stop hate speech before its publication, like the pre-crime of “Minority Report” or the “thought police” in 1984.
Here’s the thing: Hate speech is free speech as long as it’s not a direct call for violence.
It’s an opinion. Simple as.
Bitcoin is freedom of speech; Trump campaigned on free speech. What happens when the WEF changes its mind on both?
It sounds good to say, “I am against hate speech,” but the very definition of hate speech is nebulous and broad. This is the slippery slope of censorship.
Final thoughts on the World Economic Forum 2025
As a middle class plebeian, our real enemy is the plutocrats who use their power and influence to control us, manipulate us and deny our basic rights for their own gain.
If we don’t stand up and fight against these larger forces, we will be left with crumbs.
