We are delighted to announce that The next DevConnect will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from November 17 to 22, 2025!
This year, we are targeting something bigger than DevConnect: we want to support an effort that the local community has already launched – by bringing Argentina onchain.
In Buenos Aires and Argentina, we have a city and a country that have been running Ethereum adopters for many years. DevConnect Argentina is an opportunity for the entire Ethereum ecosystem to support this regular growth and to accelerate it even more, by helping citizens, companies, institutions and governments to adopt and benefit from Ethereum.

DevConnect will be the culmination of this effort and a global gathering which is more than a week of decentralized events. In addition to the events organized by the targeted community that will take place throughout the city, the EF event team will create an interactive “global exhibition of Ethereum” – a real showcase of live Dapps, as a model for what Ethereum can allow for a city, an economy and a nation.

Why DevConnect Argentina is different
Argentina is a place where Ethereum adoption occurs right away. People use stablecoins and blockchain solutions for daily transactions and savings. Buenos Aires is already experimenting with onchain: the city government has launched initiatives such as a digital identity system with Quark IDBuilt on Ethereum and Zksync, showing its opening to the crypto.
The local ecosystem is also strong, with projects based on Argentina as Embalmed,, Bello,, Bouldertech,, Decentral and,, DEFIWONDERLAND,, Exactly protocol,, Kleros,, Lambdaclass,, Lemon,, Makerdao (Sky),, Imitate,, Nomic foundation,, OPENZEPPELIN,, BoostAnd Rivio In addition to many others. In addition, it houses basic movements like Argentina Ethereum,, Graine Latam,, ETH LATAM,, Ciudad de Crecimiento and others. Argentines are also part of many other teams through the ecosystem.
Ethereum’s ecosystem has already laid solid foundations, and DevConnect is an opportunity for all of us in Ethereum ecosystem to develop on these foundations. The adoption of Ethereum occurs on a large scale today in Argentina, and together we can help Buenos Aires become a model to follow for other cities in the future.
Argentina has offered to help us with visa applications, so this DevConnect can be really accessible.
The “Fair of the Ethereum World”
In the center of DevConnect, Argentina will be something that we call “Ethereum World’s Fair”. Over the past centuries, world fairs around the world have presented advanced technology and have offered an overview of the future. Ethereum’s global exhibition will be a showcase live from the way Ethereum can transform identity, finance, governance and daily life. Stablecoins, DEFI, ONCHAIN identities, financing of public goods – all this will be at the Ethereum fair that people can try, so that you can see for yourself how the tools based on Ethereum can supply more accessible, transparent and sovereign alternatives to traditional and centralized models.
A more holistic colonist
On the main site, you will find the DevConnect coworking space, which will be a more holistic experience, including community hubs. These interactive spaces are organized by members of the community, and you may know them of Devcon. We will share more on the DevConnect community hubs and how to organize one in a few weeks.
Devconconnect events are always decentralized
Of course, DevConnect Argentina is always DevConnect – this means several events organized by different teams in the city of Buenos Aires, each plunging deep into specific Ethereum subjects.
One of our main objectives is to push real use of Ethereum. We encourage organizers to integrate the ticket office, payments and ONCHAIN’s identity as far as possible. We also continue to look for opportunities at Dogfood Ethereum Tech to improve the experience of participants at DevConnect.
