Astar Network, a bridge to take blockchain projects to Japan and even more, announced a strategic investment by Brands Animoca to accelerate Web3 Entertainment growth.

Animoca Brands wishes to provide digital property rights to consumers in order to help establish the open metavese and its associated network effects. Animoca Brands has investments in more than 540 companies, which is considered to be one of the widest investment portfolios in the web3 industry.

Astar and Animoca brands will collaborate to advance the onchain deployment of Japanese and Asian intellectual property (IP) for the global adoption of web3, emphasizing evolutionary entertainment solutions. Key integrations, including anime ID (propelled by the Moca Network of Animoca and its partner San Frantokyo), will serve as a first layer of identity and reputation on Soneium.

Astar’s mission to advance the adoption of web3 by allowing developers, creators and companies to build onchain entertainment solutions is also supported by the collaboration and investment of animoca brands.

Astar’s commitment to entertainment innovation is reinforced by initiatives such as the Fest Anime Art on Soneium, an IP campaign and focused on creators presented in Soneium by San Frantokyo and Animoca Brands to integrate users into web3. By prioritizing entertainment and mass adoption, Astar and Animoca brands aim to create new opportunities for artists, developers and digital creators, also establishing Astar as an entertainment project center.

Since its creation, Astar has focused on web2 and web3 bridging to allow the blockchain to adopt. The integration of Astar de Soneium, an open blockchain of the 2 Ethereum layer developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs, marks an important step, strengthening the growth of Astar.

The Astar token (Asth) is at the heart of the Astar Expansive ecosystem (including SONEIUM) to conduct liquidity and commitment. By allowing funding, by supporting innovation and attracting new users via DAPP Incités, AST strengthens its role as a unifying token through the ecosystem.

Yat Siu, executive president and co-founder of Animoca Brands, said in a press release: “Our investment in Astar Network aligns perfectly with our mission to advance digital property rights and open opportunity. New possibilities for creators, developers and users in the rapidly evolving web3 entertainment landscape. »»

“We are delighted to receive investments in animoca brands and to collaborate to generate greater value in astar and Soneium ecosystems,” said Sota Watanabe, founder of Astar Network, in a press release. “As one of the most active investors in the web3 space, animoca brands include the management of the ecosystem, and we take their support as a confirmation that our efforts contribute to the long -term success of blockchain and digital assets.”

In order to incorporate some of the most popular and popular concepts in the crypto world, this collaboration will work to advance the web entertainment industry and stimulate commitment to Soneium. This includes possible initiatives concerning the exploration of the creation of a fund focused on intellectual property and entertainment accounts, a decision that has drawn the attention of institutional investors.
