Bitcoin joined $ 109,000 on Sunday evening after President Donald Trump announced that he had agreed to extend a 50% price deadline on EU products on July 9.

On Friday, the American president offered a 50% rate on all imports of the EU from next month. He cited commercial imbalances and regulatory friction as justification of this decision, declaring the current commercial dynamics of the EU-US “completely unacceptable”.

He also targeted Apple with a 25% potential rate on unabled iPhones in the United States.

Bitcoin fell below $ 108,000 following Trump’s pricing announcement, the correction moving at levels of less than $ 107,000 during the weekend. The digital assets rebounded following Trump’s decision to delay politics.

In a social article of truth on Sunday, Trump said that he had granted the extension of July 9 after receiving insurance from Von der Leyen that the EU was ready to “advance the talks quickly and decisively”.

The decision, following a direct request from the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, temporarily reduces transatlantic trade tensions and opens a window for renewed negotiations.

Bitcoin, who had exchanged flat this weekend, jumped over 1,900 points in a few minutes. At the time of the press, Bitcoin was negotiated nearly $ 109,000, or about 2.5% below its $ 111,900 summit set earlier this week.

While Bitcoin leaps, other main cryptographic active ingredients have followed suit. Ethereum (ETH), XRP and Solana (Sol) all displayed gains after Trump’s announcement, according to Coingecko.

Among this week’s out -of -competition artists, the hyperliquid native media threshing led the rally, going from $ 25.7 to $ 39, a weekly gain of around 46%.

Meanwhile, the World WLF token jumped almost 25% after the project, led by the CEO of Openai, Sam Altman, announced a $ 135 million financing tour led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bain Capital Crypto.

The new capital will accelerate the deployment of its IRIS scanning orbs will expand its biometric identity infrastructure on the American and international markets.
