Amber exchange and already ready Bitcoin and Ethereum on the OTC offices. Additional assets extend these services to participants in the search for diversification beyond the two largest digital assets.
Management expects the reserve to reach a complete deployment in several quarters, with allocation decisions based on network activity measures and customer demand models.
Market reaction
Amber of Amber International Amber shares closed 6.7% down $ 8.60 on the NASDAQ on the same day as the placement conditions were published, leaving the company with approximately $ 779 million in capital value.
The sharing decision occurred while digital asset actions, such as anti-riot platforms and cornerbases, fell largely and have not demonstrated a direct link with the announcement of the reserve.
However, the drop in Amber shares was clear, crashing 15% within 30 minutes after opening and an hour after the announcement that it would add other treasury altcoins by diluting equity.
