Ripple’s technology director David Schwartz admitted that he had once simulated a question and answer session with Ozzy Osbourne and the members of Black Sabbath.
The main dishes to remember:
- The CTO Ripple David Schwartz admitted having simulated a live question session live with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.
- Schwartz used pre-written questions and censored Osbourne blasphemies due to technical problems.
- After Osbourne’s death, pieces of memes like The Mad Man (Ozzy) jumped 16,800%.
“I cheated,” said Schwartz in an article on X Thursday, explaining how he made parts of a supposed fans interaction during his stay in a company called Webmaster.
Schwartz said that he was responsible for moderating the event using the company’s former Conferenceroom software.
Ozzy Osbourne or nothing: fans have ignored the black sabbath in supposed live
The plan was to relay fans’ questions to the group by phone and transcribe their answers in real time. However, fans were not interested in Black Sabbath as a group – they only wanted Ozzy.
“I specifically asked the moderators to ask myself questions that were not for Ozzy. There was simply not one,” he wrote. To avoid the sidelining of the rest of the group, Schwartz used prepared equipment.
“I passed a question preserved to each of the other members of the group in rotation. And I mixed what I could do with what they said with the canned response of their manager,” he said.
The experience left Schwartz disillusioned. “At the time, I really felt bad in the whole. It was not the authentic interaction with the celebrities I wanted it to be and that I tried to do it,” he added, noting that only “two or three” real questions of fan never reached the group.
Schwartz also remembers having to disinfect Osbourne’s responses due to big blasphemies.
“Ozzy’s response presented the word C a lot
“I hit Ozzy’s response as closely as possible, which probably does it due to the poor quality of the connection. I censored the words C. ”
The message comes a few days after the news of Osbourne’s death at the age of 76. While tribute tributes, pieces of memes inspired by the Roche legend increased in value.
A token, Le Fou (Ozzy)Jumped more than 16,800% to negotiate $ 0.00,00,3851, reaching a market capitalization of $ 3.85 million.
Ripple, dry to settle the trial
Last month, the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, revealed that the company planned to withdraw its call to the dry, adding that the regulator should also give its own call.
The announcement follows a decision of the American district court rejecting a joint request from Ripple and the SEC to reduce the civil sentence of $ 125 million in Ripple and cancel the decision that classified the institutional sales of XRP of RIPPLE as transactions in securities.
Meanwhile, XRP saw an increase in the notional open interest for its perpetual term contracts last week.
A notional open interest, the total value of leveraged positions held by merchants, climbed at a top of $ 8.8 billion, depending on Coinglass. The figure corresponds to nearly 2.9 billion XRP in open contracts.
The previous record for XRP’s theoretical interests is $ 8.3 billion, which was hit at the start of the second term of former US president Donald Trump.
