Katia Guerra, assistant professor of information technology management, had a series of her recent academic contributions published on subjects covering ethical artificial intelligence, the adoption of the AI system and blockchain technology. Guerra’s work highlights the multifaceted nature of modern technological research.
Guerra has published two of its articles in the AMCIS 2025 procedure, “Design and implementation of ethical ia: a systematic literature review”, which aims to show how AI can be implemented ethically in order to comply with the new rules and directives established by the main directing bodies.
Guerra’s second article is the one she co-written entitled “AI adoption of self-diagnostic systems: a socio-technical perspective”. This article explores the environmental and technological factors involved when adopting AI self-diagnosis systems. The two articles address important aspects of the development and implementation of AI.
In addition, Guerra saw her work published in the International Review of Law, Computer and Technology. She co-wrote “Blockchain technology: an analysis of economic, technical and legal implications”. This article details how blockchain technology is not yet ready to replace traditional commercial transactions, because it does not fully adhere to existing legal rules. The document continues to emphasize how it can start to change.
