Circle Research has deployed a new developer frame called OOAK (Object -oriented agent kit). The toolbox is designed to build AI agents that can safely manage sensitive tasks such as portfolios or send crypto.
In traditional configurations, most SDKs give agents access to a single global object which contains all state data. This approach works well in small scales, but quickly becomes a waste in the biggest systems. Several agents end up sharing the same objects, increasing the risks around overlapping, ineffectiveness and even private information leaks. But with Ooak, Circle changes that.
Instead of throwing each agent in the same pool, it allows developers to build agents based on instances. Each agent manages his own condition, whether it is a portfolio, a database or a unique set of tools.

The technical edge
In the heart of Ooak is a decorator called @AGENT_TOOL. It allows developers to link the instance methods directly to an AI agent. It means an agent like Wallet Can send USDC safely using only its assigned portfolio. Other system agents cannot touch this wallet or even see it.
This is a big step forward for the development of AI in web3. Developers no longer need to juggle global containers or ineffective circumvention solutions such as the execution of MCP servers. Instead, they can evolve agents while keeping their states fully isolated.
What it means for developers
