The Salib Suci Foundation, one of the nation’s oldest and most respected K-12 education networks, announced that it will use Space and Time, a blockchain-based data platform, to securely store and verify English proficiency test diplomas for approximately 14,000 students across 70 schools.
The move comes as more Indonesian institutions adopt blockchain technology to improve academic degree management. The initiative builds on a partnership between Indomobil Group, one of Indonesia’s largest business conglomerates, and the Space and Time Foundation, which recently launched a program allowing students to record proof of course completion directly on the blockchain.
A new standard for verifiable credentials
As part of this partnership, each English Proficiency Test (EFT) title issued by Salib Suci schools will be uploaded to the SXT channel. It gives students a permanent and verifiable record of their achievements. This means when graduates apply for higher education or employment. Their results can be checked instantly. No paperwork, no delays, no risk of counterfeiting.
Indomobil’s educational initiative has already prepared the ground for this change. Using SXT, Space and Time’s native token, students can seamlessly enroll in courses and pay for certifications while institutions benefit from automated verification. With the adoption of Salib Suci, the program is now extending blockchain-based record keeping to younger students. It expands its impact to approximately 124,000 learners nationwide when combined with the earlier deployment at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia’s top university.
📣 I have just announced: we are working in partnership with the Salib Suci Foundation to integrate 14,000 additional students into Space and Time.

“By moving the recordings to the SXT channel with Space and Time and Indomobil. We are giving each student proof of their achievements that can follow them wherever they choose to study or work,” said Pastor Leo van Beurden, president of the Salib Suci Foundation.
Blockchain and education converge
Education verification is one of the fastest growing real-world uses of blockchain. Universities and training institutions around the world are adopting decentralized ledgers. The goal is to make university diplomas tamper-proof and portable. The World Economic Forum recently highlighted blockchain-based degrees as a key step towards improving the transparency of education systems globally.
According to Alejandro Lanapsa, Head of Partnerships at Space and Time, “Education systems need a way to make learning records universal and verifiable. Space and Time was built as an auditable database for precisely this type of adoption.”
