Keshav is currently a Senior Editor at NewsBTC and has been attached to the website since June 14, 2021.
Keshav has been writing for many years, first as an amateur and then as a freelancer. He has experience in various niches, even fiction at one point, but the cryptocurrency sector is the one he has been attached to the longest.
In terms of official qualifications, Keshav holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from one of India’s premier institutes, University of Delhi (DU). He began his studies with the goal of eventually pursuing a career in physics, but the onset of COVID led to a change in his plans. The virus meant college classes had to be taught online, allowing him free time to explore other passions.
Initially only looking to make some money, Keshav unexpectedly attracted clients with real projects, after which there was no turning back. Writing was something he had always loved and being able to do it for a living was like a dream come true.
Keshav graduated with a degree in physics in 2022 and has since focused on his writing career, but that doesn’t mean his passion for physics has ended. He eventually plans to return to college to earn a master’s degree in the same field, but perhaps only to satisfy his own interest rather than to use it as a means to find employment.
Keshav has found blockchain and its concepts fascinating since he started venturing down the rabbit hole in 2020. On-chain analysis in particular is something he likes to do more research on, which is why his articles on NewsBTC tend to involve him in one form or another.
Being from a scientific background, Keshav likes concepts to be clear and consistent, so he usually explains the indicators he talks about in a bit of detail so that readers can perhaps come away having understood and learned something new.
When it comes to hobbies, Keshav loves football, anime, and video games. He loves football not only as a spectator, but also as a player. For gaming, Keshav generally tends to enjoy single-player adventures, with EA FC (formerly FIFA) being the only online game he is active in. However, perhaps due to his ultra-focus on the game, today he is a semi-pro on the EA FC scene, regularly participating in tournaments and sometimes even collecting prize money.
Due to his enthusiasm for anime and games, he also taught himself Japanese in order to consume some of the untranslated gems that are out there. This skill didn’t remain just a hobby either, as he used it productively during his exploration of small gigs in the early days of COVID, doing some translation work from Japanese to English.
Keshav is also interested in fitness, with training related to agility and acceleration making up a large part of his program due to their relevance in football. In addition to this, he also offers a more traditional gym strength training program, which he follows to maintain an overall fitness level of his body.
