HYPE trading has been online since January 27, 2026.
To add an asset to your Kraken account, go to Funding, select the asset you are looking for and click “Deposit”.
Make sure to deposit your tokens on networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made via other networks will be lost.

Hyperliquid (HYPE)
Hyperliquid (HYPE) is a high-performance layer 1 blockchain built with the vision of a fully on-chain open financial system. L1 uses a custom consensus algorithm called HyperBFT, optimized from the ground up to support high-frequency trading requests. HyperCore includes fully on-chain perpetual futures and spot order books where every order, cancellation, transaction, and liquidation happens seamlessly with sub-second finality.
The channel currently supports 200,000 orders per second. HyperEVM brings EVM compatibility to Hyperliquide, making high-performance liquidity and financial primitives available as permissionless building blocks. HYPE is the native token used to secure the network through staking, participation in governance, and payment of transaction fees.

- Trading through Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once liquidity conditions are met. (when enough buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be effectively matched).

Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal details shortly before launch, including which assets we are considering. All available Kraken tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our announcement roadmap and social media profiles. Our customer engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about what assets we might make available in the future.
