Robinhood Chain generates 10 million daily transactions on Arbitrum

At least 10 million daily transactions were recorded by the Layer 2 Robinhood Chain network in the first three weeks after its launch. Built on Arbitrum’s technology stack, the platform directly connects its operational throughput to the treasury of Ethereum’s scaling ecosystem.

Revenue mechanisms and operational measures

Token Terminal revealed data showing that the number of daily transactions has remained consistently between 7 and 11 million since the beginning of July, while average block times have fallen to 100 milliseconds. However, the analytics company itself clarified that Robinhood will cover all users’ gas fees for the first 90 days of the network’s operation.

This temporary exemption reduces transaction fees for participants to zero. According to industry analysts, the measure acts as an incentive capable of temporarily boosting the volume of activity until the subsidies end at the end of September.

Economic ties under the arbitration expansion program

Financially, the economic link between the two platforms operates within the framework of the rules of the Arbitrum Expansion Program. The official ArbitrumDAO documentation states that the Layer 2 network allocates 10% of its net protocol revenue to the ecosystem, distributing 8% to the DAO Treasury and 2% to the Protocol Developers Guild.

This structure strengthens the funds under governance management. Nevertheless, industry sources point out that the current model does not include automatic purchases of ARB tokens on the open market or direct dividend distributions to cryptocurrency holders.

Fee Projections and Early Activity

During the subsidy phase, fees generated by the network averaged about $4,000 per day. According to FalconX estimates, the network is expected to reach approximately $1.1 million in fees over a six-month operational period.

As of mid-July 2026, DefiLlama metrics showed early activity driven by trading stablecoins and memecoins, recording $12.8 million in real-world token assets. The retention capacity of the platform will be formally assessed in the fourth quarter of the year, when users assume regular payment of network fees.
