NEWSWISE – Researchers from the University of Shanghai Jiao Tong have created Chaser, a new incitement system based on the blockchain that facilitates the easier and safer mobile crowdsense. Mobile Crowdssensage is a data collection method using mobile devices and everyday users. However, traditional systems are often faced with problems of confidentiality, data security and too centralized control.
Supermarkets exceeded in the efficiency of self-treatment
To understand the advantages of Chaser, imagine a traditional Crowdsensage platform as a supermarket managed by a cashier. If this single cashier is exceeded or compromised, the whole operation can stop. Chaser, however, transforms this scenario into a self-truth market. In this configuration, intelligent contracts work like automated and impartial cashiers that manage transactions fairly, in private and without slowdown.
Empower participation: equity, transparency and security of solid data in rock
Chaser stands out because it promotes high participation of users by guaranteeing equity and transparency. It protects users’ identities with advanced encryption methods, keeping personal data in safety. This results in a more reliable and more effective data collection process that can benefit many areas, from town planning to environmental surveillance.
“Chaser is more than a new system – it is a transformer leap which guarantees that the contribution of each participant is valued and managed safely,” explains Professor Yuan Luo, principal researcher.
Read the bar: improved social well-being with unrivaled reliability
Research shows that Chaser benefits all participants and stimulates global social well-being. This means that people who provide data and those who collect them benefit from better results than older systems (i.e. Prom-F, Prom-M and RBSM). Chaser uses strong anonymity and data protection measures to avoid improper use of sensitive information, and it systematically reaches a development rate of the task greater than 80%, even on a large scale, proving its reliability.
Transparent automation: Operating Blockchain and ZK-SNARK for secure SWIFT transactions
The researchers have implemented smart contracts in a blockchain setting to automatically manage tasks, payments and checks. This automation reduces human errors and accelerates the process. In addition, Chaser uses a unique cryptographic method known as ZK-Snark, which allows rapid verification of transactions while keeping anonymous users.
Overall, the study marks an important step in the development of decentralized systems that balance user incentives, data protection and operational efficiency – a key step in the application of blockchain technology to daily challenges.
