Web3 was based on decentralization, sovereignty, verifiability and resilience. Now these values are threatened. The rise of AI agents is beneficial and inevitable. Unless the agents are built on a sovereign infrastructure centered on intention, they are a threat to the fundamental values of the crypto.

The integration of intentions no longer consists in improving UX; It is a question of allowing agents to reach their full potential without sacrificing the soul of web3.

AI agents can help make blockchain interactions without seamless and intuitive, but agents as they exist today bring serious safety problems and do not line up with web 3 values. Today’s agents are based on black models (LLMS) that are uniformable and subjects to hallucinations. This is a dangerous combination when it comes to managing sensitive financial data.

Confidentiality is not negotiable

Agents are built on centralized infrastructure with opaque execution systems, without control over user confidentiality or data sovereignty. They are executed on closed source algorithms of IBM and Openai. This trend is about to reproduce web2 power dynamics through the cryptographic ecosystem.

However, by integrating agents with intention -centered systems, we can make sure that users fully control their data and assets.

Intentions are a type of construction block for decentralized applications which give users a total control over the result of their transactions. Propelled by a decentralized network of solvers, agent knots that behave to resolve user transactions, these systems eliminate the complexity of blockchain experience while maintaining the sovereignty and confidentiality of users throughout the process.

In relation: The intentions set the UX crisis of the crypto and open the way to agentics

The intention -based systems allow all the advantages of the UX of AI agents while keeping the sovereignty of the users in place and guaranteeing the desired results.

The centralization trap

Without intention, AI agents also have serious centralization problems. As agents based on popularity increases, the risk of centralization and market consolidation is high.

Without a competitive and decentralized market of agents, where individual agents are in competition for user activity, we are in danger that specific LLMs become centralized monopolies which take charge of the whole flow.

The intention-based infrastructure can allow decentralized and interoperable markets of agents who prevent a mega-agent from taking over. In these systems, agents can communicate, specialize in certain types of transactions, the sharing command flow, compete to meet the needs of users and, above all, be held responsible for the results.

Realize the full potential of AI agents

Beyond ensuring privacy, decentralization and verifiability, intentions will also help agents reach their full potential. Although current generation agents are largely partitioned, intentions can serve as a language for agents communicating and interoperent. Agent agent communication via intentions will be necessary for agents to exchange with each other and carry out more complex operations and in several stages for users.

In particular, with generalized intentions, agents become even more powerful, capable of resolving any user request, including complex operations in several stages and cross -transactions. This opens the door to new types of applications that can take decentralized finances (DEFI) beyond the services that exist today, with UX advantages that allow web3 to compete with the experience of web2.

A match made in paradise

The combination of AI agents and intentions will redefine the web experience while keeping space faithful to its fundamental values. Intens users and brilliant agents, guaranteeing UX advantages the advantages that users expect from AI while maintaining decentralization, sovereignty and verifiability. The intention -based systems will play a crucial role in the next phase of web3 evolution by guaranteeing agents to act in the best interest of users.

As the adoption of AI increases, the same goes for the risk of reproducing web2 problems in web3. The intention -centered infrastructure is the key to meeting both the challenges and opportunities that AI agents bring and are necessary to unlock their full potential. The intentions will be an essential infrastructure component and a fundamental requirement for anyone integrating or considering integrating AI into DEFI.

The intentions are not simply a type of UX upgrade or optional improvement. It is a critical infrastructure to ensure that AI serves users, not existing powers. The earlier the industry adopts them, the best are its chances of preserving an open and decentralized future.
