Decades from now, we will still have plenty to tell about Ethereum’s early days. We will remember how a particular and powerful technology began to change the landscape of trust on the internet. Some will remember being skeptical, while others will claim to have always known that this technology would change the world. These stories of the future are out of reach for us, obscured like all things by the challenges and uncertainties of the present moment.
But there are other stories around us right now that we need to listen to. Stories of people, of their learning, their growth, their hope, and their experience. The Ethereum Foundation’s Next Billion Fellowship is looking for people with stories to tell today and projects that are working toward tomorrow.
From today until January 15, 2024, Applications are open for Cohort 4 of the Next Billion FellowshipFor six months, NxBn Fellows will explore and work on a project that represents a personal quest toward a better future, with the help of peers/mentors from the broader Ethereum universe.
There are no strict guidelines for an NxBn scholarship project or story. Projects from previous cohorts Research, proof-of-concept, and broader collaboration projects have been included outside of the web3 space. The NxBn Fellowship is just a small part of a larger narrative; new fellows will typically have already started their journey and will be working on their project long after the fellowship ends. The only requirement is that fellows are able to seriously represent the context of their project in public and openly share their words (or code) with the community. We appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing your stories.
