Hayes also increased his exposure to decentralized finance tokens, purchasing Ethena (ENA), Pendle (PENDLE), and Ether.fi (ETHFI), with total purchases valued at approximately $609,000.
The latest transactions build on activity from last weekend, when Hayes traded 680 ETH for 1.2 million ENA tokens. Hayes said he was reducing exposure to Ethereum in favor of certain DeFi assets that he believed could benefit more directly from improving liquidity conditions.
The analyst had accumulated ENA earlier in 2025 before selling some of his holdings during periods of market weakness, resulting in realized losses on these positions.
