He has attracted a massive audience to X, formerly Twitter, which now has nearly a million followers.
On the NFT market, Beeple has created a strong brand to become one of the most important figures in the industry. In 2021, Beeple crossed an important stage in his career after one of his works, “Everyday: The First 5000 Days”, sold in NFT for millions of dollars. At the end of 2021, the NFT collection of Beeple was sold at auction by Christie’s and sold immediately at $ 69 million.
Does Beeple have a case to answer?
Based on OpenSsea NFT Marketplace data, the NFT NFT # 8636 collection, Bored Yacht Club # 8636, which used to create its daily illustrations, belonged to the famous NFT Trader 0xcool. While answering the question of whether Beeple asked permission to use his work, the merchant NFT confirmed that Beeple had not asked for his permission. It is not certain that 0xcool will file a case of copyright violation against Beeple.

In November, Beeple narrowly escaped another copyright violation after having tweeted the controversial same controversial of Chil Guy without the consent of Phillip Banks, the artist behind the meme viral “Chill Guy”. At the time, Banks promised to take legal action against the pieces even using his art. Beeple moved away from the medal and said that he had no involvement in the project.
