Better alternative to traditional accreditation

Artificial intelligence and blockchain disrupt inherited education systems by expanding access to education through alternative accreditation systems and the content supplied by AI.

John von Seggern, an online educator and founder of the FutureProof Music School, an online school that teaches students the production of electronic music, is currently using an AI assistant to help structure and complete the courses for his students.

The educator told Cintelegraph that he planned to deploy Blockchain -based references for those who follow educational courses, providing verifiable proof that they have completed the programs and obtained sufficient understanding of the equipment.

“I was involved in accreditation of my last school, and I saw a lot of problems in this process,” he told Cointelegraph.

“There is important momentum worldwide to use blockchain technology to issue, share and verify educational experiences and qualifications”, according to a report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), an intergovernmental group. The authors wrote:

“Blockchain technology allows anyone to validate affirmations concerning an individual or an institution, including their characteristics and qualifications, and to do it instantly and with a very high level of certainty.”
