The working group on the dry crypto is ready for its next round table on tokenization and the challenge. He announced the agenda and the events of the event, where the best leaders of Wall Street will join to discuss the future of finance.
The event entitled “Tokenization – Assets in Onchain moving: where Tradfi and Defi meet” is scheduled for May 12 at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, DC, where the event will explore how Tradfi and Defi meet through an active movement based on the blockchain. The event will be open to the public and live on the web on the SEC website.
The peirce of the dry calls for the change of game of tokenization
The president of the Sec, Paul Atkins, will deliver the opening speech of the event. Commissioner Hester Mr. Peirce spoke of the importance of the event, calling tokenization a technological development which could change many aspects of the financial markets. “I can’t wait to hear ideas from our panelists about how dry should approach this area,” she said.
The event has two planned key sessions: “Capital Markets 2.0”, led by Jeff Dinwoodie of the law firm Cravath, and “The Future of Tokenization”, led by Tiffany Smith of Wilmerhale. The session will focus on long -term implications, use cases and how regulators can react to tokenized assets on capital markets.

Blackrock, Fidelity, Robinhood joined
The round table will feature breaded giants of Wall Street like Blackrock, Fidelity, Nasdaq and Robinhood. Participants include Robert Mitchnick (Blackrock), Cynthia Lo Bessette (Fidelity), Eun Ah Choi (Nasdaq), Will Geyer (Investco), Sandy Kaul (Franklin Templeton), Christine Moy (Apollo Management), among others.
Representatives of Robinhood, Maple Finance, Securitize and Blockchain Capital will also share their opinions during the event.
Dry Reductules ‘Defi and American Spirit’ Round Table
In addition, the fourth round table, “Defi and the American Spirit”, was transferred to June 9 from June 6.
The crypto working group launched a series of round tables in March. The first round table explained how cryptographic assets are classified, the second focused on trading in cryptography, and the third addressed childcare issues. These sessions show how the agency goes to a more open and collaborative approach.
