Los Angeles-based blockchain venture studio Draper Goren Blockchain has opened an office in Troy that it hopes will become a hub for incubation and acceleration of portfolio companies while also housing DGB’s growing team of operators.
This expansion follows the success of the Company’s PropTech portfolio companies, including LitFinancial, one of the fastest-growing mortgage brokerages in the country, and AIVRE, an innovative AI-driven valuation software platform.
The new Metro Detroit office positions DGB at the epicenter of the U.S. mortgage industry, providing direct access to critical PropTech infrastructure and talent.
Metro Detroit is home to two of the nation’s largest mortgage providers: Rocket Mortgage in Detroit and United Wholesale Mortgage in Pontiac.
“I’m incredibly excited to see our companies thriving at this level,” says Alon Goren, founding partner of Draper Goren Blockchain. “Opening a second home base in Michigan is a testament to our success, and I couldn’t be more proud to see it led by my incredible partner, David Bleznak.”
Bleznak says, “Michigan offers an unparalleled ecosystem for PropTech innovation. The performance of our venture studio has been exceptional, and this expansion allows us to deepen our roots in the nation’s mortgage capital while building a world-class team to support the continued growth of our portfolio companies.”
