The Dubai Finance Department (DOF), May 12, 2025, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Crypto.com to allow cryptographic payments for various payment services.
Following this collaboration, residents and companies will be able to pay services such as visa costs, licenses and public services with Crypto via Dubai Pay, the government’s digital payment platform. A pilot program later this year will begin the implementation of this service.
The president of Crypto.com, Mohammed Al Hakim, said: “Today’s announcement represents significant progress for the adoption of digital finance with complete integration in the diapers of government payments.” In particular, the company entered Dubai in 2023 after receiving its first Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority license (Vara).

Hashkey bags vasp license via vara to operate on water
