Floki is proud to announce that Valhalla, Floki’s revolutionary PlayToEarn MMORPG, will be at the forefront of a major advertising campaign throughout the 2024-25 English Premier League (EPL) season.
Leveraging peripheral LED panels during live matches, this campaign will deliver massive global exposure and build brand credibility.
The English Premier League is the world’s most popular sports league, attracting more viewers than the UEFA Champions League and Bundesliga combined. For the 2022-23 season, the EPL has recorded a cumulative audience of 3.23 billion viewers.
Broadcast to 712 million homes in 190 countries, the league reaches 2.01 billion viewers of live games during the season and 1.22 billion viewers of highlights and other non-live content, according to data from Nielsen.
Premier League clubs also have impressive social media followings, with over half a billion followers in total. Facebook has 240 million followers, Instagram 157 million, TikTok 56 million, X 123 million and YouTube 28 million.
Valhalla’s LED billboards will be strategically placed to maximize visibility. The fully TV-oriented advertising system ensures that ads are highly visible during broadcasts. Creative flexibility allows for dynamic customization of advertising content. Branding will be visible within the event itself, providing visibility to the program.
The ads will provide multi-channel coverage, making them viewable across different devices and platforms, including broadcast, social, mobile and online. There are no virtual overlays to interfere with the Premier League ads, ensuring uninterrupted viewability. Additionally, the minimal use of ads makes them almost unavoidable for viewers.
According to the team, every minute of LED advertising broadcast generates 156 minutes of overall on-screen visibility.
The advertising campaign will run for 100 minutes throughout the season and will be broadcast worldwide to ensure wide distribution. At least 40% of the advertising inventory will be broadcast during matches of the league’s top clubs.
This extensive campaign is expected to reach a massive global audience. In total, it is expected to reach over 200 million people, with approximately 1.2 billion impressions and a total screen time of nearly 440 hours. In Europe, the campaign is expected to generate approximately 81 million impressions with a total screen time of approximately 181 hours.
In Asia and Oceania, the campaign is expected to generate approximately 47 million impressions and run for approximately 168 hours on screen. In Africa, it is expected to generate approximately 48 million impressions and run for approximately 34 hours on screen.
The campaign will air across some of the world’s leading broadcasters including Sky Sports, TNT, Amazon Prime, BBC (highlights), NBC Sports (including Peacock), USA Network, Telemundo, FuboTV, Optus Sports, Star Sports, Disney+ Hotstar, beIN Sports, Supersport, Sky Deutschland, Canal+, DAZN, Sky Italia, Astro, Now TV and Truevisions.
