We want to congratulate the Ethereum community for a hard fork ended successfully. 1920000 block contained the execution of an irregular change of state which transferred approximately 12 million eths of “Dark Dao” and “Whitehat Dao” contracts in the Withdrawal recovery contract. The fork itself took place gently, with around 85% of minors minor at the fork:
You can see the progress of the current fork here. Ethstates The GO, Java and Parity (Rust) nodes programs are successfully synchronized with the fork chain.
The recovery contract already returns the ether of DAO tokens holders; About 4.5 million ETH were sent to DAO tokens holders, and around 463,000 ETH are under the control of the curator; A contract to facilitate extrabalancing payments is currently under security examination.
Users who do not wish to participate in the range chain should upgrade their customers to a version compatible with a fork if he has not already done so; The Go upgrade GO (version 1.4.10) is available here. If users continue to be interested in following the no fork chain, they should always update, but execute with the -opponent-dao-fourchette Activated flag, although they should be wary of Transaction proofreading attacks and take the appropriate measures to keep against them; Usense without interest for the no fork chain do not have to worry about the transaction rereading attack problems.
We thank our developers and the community for having worked together to make the transition as fluid as it has been, and we are impatient to work together to continue to make the success of the Ethereum ecosystem and protocol.
