This change was implemented several days ago, and it is still unclear whether this was a temporary issue or whether the tech giant has decided to change this policy permanently. For now, no official statement from Google explains why cryptocurrency price chart is no longer supported. Many believe that this could be part of the so-called trials that occur from time to time and are carried out by Google’s algorithm. Maybe it has something to do with the upcoming US elections.
Even though cryptocurrency decoding charts have been removed, stock and index charts are still displayed in Google search results. Previously, users could easily find feeds containing current prices of popular cryptocurrencies directly on the search page without opening other sites.

For cryptocurrency enthusiasts who still want to track prices, the information is available on Google Finance. However, the platform’s recent activity stream, observed on October 7, indicates the possibility of technical problems in the appearance of real-time cryptocurrency price data.
With Google still making no comment on the situation, crypto users can only wait and wonder if charts will return and if this is now the new standard for providing information about cryptocurrencies. For now, users may have to go to other apps or social networks for the latest cryptocurrency price information.
