Their range of physical toys, launched alongside the online portal “Grassouillé”, was a significant success of sales, in particular major retail partnerships like Walmart and Target. This success has solidified its position as a notable actor on the market, surpassing certain brands of inherited toys.

In another daring step, the fog brand NFT has expanded its bold toys offering to Asia. In a blog post of July 17, Lucas Netz, chief executive officer of Pudgy Penguins, confirmed that the expansion of the Japanese toys of grassouilles had already started. Netz noted that the future of NFT Brouiling toys could be in Asia. Grouped NFT toys were spotted in Don Quijote stores in Japan, in particular the main building of Nagoya Osu and the Mega Don Quijote store the Park Utsunomiya.

Don Quijote, often nicknamed “Donki”, is a popular Japanese reduction stores known for its wide variety of products, low prices and hours at the end of the evening. It is an essential visit to residents and tourists looking for a unique shopping experience. The stores are known for their shiny and catchy yellow and black signaling and a distinct and somewhat chaotic arrangement designed to encourage exploration.
Don Quijote, known for its wide range of products and its often original atmosphere, has more than 600 stores in Japan and more than 100 stores abroad. This includes stores in countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States. The company operates under the name of “Don Don Donki” in certain places abroad. Donki joins a rapidly growing list of large retailers who have already listed the NFT grassouillant toys, notably Walmart, Target and Walgreens.

Pudgy Penguins, the digital active company behind the fog toys of non-fugitive people, launched its range of physical toys, “Pudgy Toys” in 2023, after the launch of the NFT Initial collection in July 2021. Toys were published in partnership with PMI Toys and were initially available online on Amazon and other electronic platforms. PMI Toys is a global manufacturer and distributor of brand toys and games.
Each toy is delivered with a QR code that unlocks the features and collectibles inside the newly updated version of Pudgy World, an online game in open world which is fueled by Zksync, where players can personalize penguin characters, complete quests focused on the script, and even more. The QR code on each toy provides an additional layer of engagement, improving consumer experience and promoting a community around the brand of Grassouilles penguins.
Given that all existing and future heavy toys are connected to existing IP parts, NFT holders continue to receive payments from the license platform recently launched by Penguins, Overpassip, where holders can submit their NFT to be considered for future toy launches and other brand initiatives. Overpassip technology has simplified the license process for grassouilles holders by opting for automatic follow -up of royalties, which in turn has created real utility and value for said holders.
Grassouillant toys, a line of stuffed animals, figurines and collects, received a warm reception among the communities of Crypto and NFT. The presence of fatty penguins in Don Quijote stores indicates a successful transition of digital collectibles to tangible products available in a physical retail framework. This decision is part of the brand’s wider strategy to reach a wider audience beyond the web3 space.
