Founded by pseudonymous developers, Berachain has collected more than $ 100 million to help propel his new EVM liquidity blockchain.
What started as a NFT project called Bit Bears has since turned into a booming ecosystem, the first co-founder of Framework Vance Spencer to describe the Berachain community as “one of the most energetic that I seen throughout the crypto ”.
This enraged community is now impatiently awaiting the launch of Berachain’s Mainnet, who actually suggested the project on “Q5”.
As its launch of Mainnet is approaching, here is how you can prepare for Berachain in advance.
What is Berachain?
Built at the top of the SDK Cosmos, Berachain is a layer 1 blockchain of the 1 EVM layer. He uses a new “proof of liquidity” consensus mechanism, which aims to approach the limits of the proof model.
Users provide liquidity to the pools using the native Network Bera tokens, winning Bera (BGT) governance tokens, which are delegated to validators who produce blocks depending on the quantity of delegated BGT. The validators then vote on the future inflation of the BGT through the liquidity pools and distribute block rewards (called bribes) to the delegants.
What can you do on Berachain before launch?
Although the main launch of Berachain is not yet live, users are actively looking for ways to participate before the launch.
Pre-depict vaults
Before its launch of Mainnet, Berachain allows interested investors to provide liquidity to the channel and to select the protocols thanks to collaborations with SELECT Challenge Protocols, like Stakestone and Etherfi.
As part of its Beramas initiative, the project opened these chests, which differ from its “Boyco” pre-launched liquidity program, allowing users to deposit cryptographic assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum, and to obtain early access to batteries Rewards on Berachain.
According to DUN data, more than $ 2.1 billion has been deposited in these pre-deportation chests to date, led by Etherfi which has amassed more than $ 627 million in deposits.
Above all, this offers users a way to stack Berachain’s rewards before the launch of its Mainnet channel.
“These chests are a simpler way to stack the rewards before the launch of Boyco, with a UX in one click on a few different verticals,” wrote the pseudonym member of the Berachain team, Bera knowledge.
Boyco
Boyco is the pre-launching program for Berachain, designed to solve the problem of short-term incentives offered to “farmers” or blockchain users in search of awards such as chips of tokens, while benefiting simultaneously Protocols that require early liquidity and users to succeed.
It will offer users the possibility of providing early liquidity to the protocols defined to launch on Berachain, which gives them a chance to stack rewards such as pre-depost chests.
Users will deposit cryptographic assets in one of the three types of markets – the side side, the stages -sables or the volatile – and will be rewarded the Bera incentives and multipliers depending on the type of asset and market in which they provide liquidity.
In other words, a user who deposits only the USDC in a single market that accepts an asset, will receive a different multiplier and a Bera reward that a user who provides two assets correlated in a StableWap market.
More information on multipliers and markets that will come with Boyco is in the recent Berachain blog article.
At least 12 different protocols are defined to open Boyco vaults and details on their mechanics and their audits are available in the aforementioned blog.
Participate with applications on Testnet
Berachain has a robust testnet, allowing users to interact with many protocols of different types to better understand the user experience that will arise at the launch of Mainnet and will potentially benefit from it in the process.
Because its upcoming network is identical to the EVM, users who seek to access the testnet can do so via popular EVM compatible portfolios like Metamask or Rabby.
Four different taps, or drops of tokens, are available for users to request Bera tokens, which can then be used to start on the Berachain Testnet.
Once a user has requested testnet funds, he can generally start to interact with protocols on the Testnet, including more than 100 – including 127 which met the support criteria in the recent “Broposal request: Applications”, A program led to a program by Berachain to support and scale manufacturers aimed at launching on its main.
Each of these selected protocols will receive rewards allocated by Berachain during the launch of Mainnet, with specific requirements such as “offering at least 70% of these rewards to Mainnet users and for liquidity incentives”.
A full list of protocols, which range from casinos like Pepino Casino, to smart rings like Ring Moon, and all DEFI protocols like Stakestone and Dolomite are available for users who seek to explore more.
Warning: The author has a honeycomb NFT created by the Honey Pot, an application that met the criteria for the program’s program request.
Community projects
In addition to more formal applications as listed above, the Berachain community has lent itself to the creation of a handful of community initiatives, including NFT projects which should be launched and be eligible to negotiate on web markets3 Popular Magic Eden.
Berachain supports these projects with awards under his “community” umbrella.
At least 72 projects met the criteria and were determined by Berachain to have “demonstrated significant contributions to the Berachain ecosystem to date” and “described a clear plan for continuous contributions to promote long -term education, Community strengthening and positive commitment around Berachain himself. “”
This includes NFT projects like Teled Teddys and Beratodds, the PuffPaw project of the Vape-to-Garn project, Berachain Records, among others.
It is important to note that the NFT projects accepted in the request for a broposal: the community initiative should not be put online, offering new members of the apprenticeship and the intermediary of the communities before their launch.
What are the potential advantages?
Berachain will have a native token, Bera, which will be used to activate the validator’s nodes and pay transactions on the blockchain.
Although no official token air card has been announced, comments from team members and channel publications have indicated that part of the Bera token is reserved for selected actions, such as participation in Boyco or its request for communities and broposal applications.
Merry Beramas, beloved friends and bear.
I am more than grateful to work daily with a group as passionate about manufacturers, including our internal team as well as the distribution of All-Star characters and disarticulated ecosystem.

In addition, the market strongly suspects a strap arrives, and soon, with the probability of Berachain ticketing, the probability of Berachain’s probability of 81% according to bettors on Polymarket.
When will Berachain be launched?
An exact calendar for the launch of Berachain is not known, but it is widely supposed to take place in a few weeks after the launch of the Boyco – which “approaches quickly”, according to a blog article of January 20 of the pseudonym member of the Jack Bearow team.
