Pritzker signs cryptographic regulations
Governor JB Pritzker has signed two laws to regulate cryptocurrency.
The Senate bill 1797 obliges cryptocurrency companies to register with the department of financial and professional regulations of Illinois and to comply with the policies and procedures of the State.
The Senate Bill 2319 regulates digital asset kiosks. The two laws entered into force on Monday with the signing of the governor.

Gun brought to school on the first day of CPS lessons
The first day of lessons for students from Chicago public schools, those responsible for Whitney Young High School informed parents that a firearm was identified and secured during the entrance projection on Monday morning.
The message indicates that no threat was made and no injury has been reported.
