So I started out with Crypto Daytrading about 2 months back, starting with 500 bucks on Coinbase.
On my first day i made 60 bucks plus, with Definitive/EDGE and afterwards playing around with some others but not losing any of my money.
Now as pretty much all of you should be aware, markets been down for prolly a bit over a month and a half.
Which was about 2 days after I put my money in several cryptos, 200 of my 560 were in edge at the start, and after playing with the others a while that were rising pretty alright at the time I moved most of my other money in edge too because it was pretty low, so my last transactions add up to 460 bucks in edge and my 100 in hopr have barely moved anything in the past month and have steadily been sitting at 75, which probably was a bad input on my side since hopr doesnt do much movement in general, it was one of the ones I was trying out.
Now I pretty much have two options. (Mainly for edge because I think Ill sit on hopr till it goes back up)
- Wait for the expected bullrun at the end of the year, sell then, and then continue doing my usual compound interest. (zinseszins in german idk if im translating it right)
or - Take a "hit" now, sell out when my edge sits at about what I bought it for, (which it just about did on the 13th but I missed my window to sell because I wasnt at home) and then go back to doing my compound interest and using ups and downs now.
Now I see pros and contras in both, but mainly, if I do option 1 Id possibly miss out on some money I could make now.
What is your guys´ opinion on what I should do?
