Friends,
Out of respect for those within our own community and around us who are currently dealing with the ongoing global health crisis, our team has decided to temporarily pause scheduled Devcon announcements, first announced in our last message. In the meantime, we wanted to share something else we’ve been working on that was due to come out with this year’s other tracks.
Meet the Devcon Archives
Starting today, everyone can dive into presentations from all past Devcon events via the Devcon archiveswhich will live on as a permanent part of Devcon.org.
With the archives, we started by collecting videos of keynotes, workshops and other experiences into playlists available in one place, with details of past events and media dating back to “ÐΞVcon-0” of 2014 in Berlin.
This is just the beginning of the archive, and in the near future we plan to add new features such as photo albums from each year, graphics and illustrations, full lists of presenters and supporters, and more even more. So whether you’ve had the chance to attend a Devcon in the past or haven’t had the chance just Yet we envision the Devcon Archives as a way for everyone to learn, explore, and relive the experience, whether physically present or not.
While our other planned announcements will follow, we appreciate your continued patience until things have calmed down and the timing is a little more appropriate given the challenges so many are currently facing, including those of our own community. We hope this content helps pass the time until our next update, and from our team to you and yours, stay safe and well!
