Over the past three months, the non-fungible token market has suffered a brutal collapse that has left many traders losing interest in NFT collections, especially blue-chip NFTs. In an attempt to bring back the NFT hype, Magic Eden has launched digital gift sets. NFT Marketplace users can now easily send NFT bundles or collectible bundles to friends, community members, or anyone with a supported wallet address.
Magic Eden launches NFT gift boxes
In a blog post on January 8, Magic Eden confirmed that it has enabled the NFT gifting option on its dashboard. Magic Eden is a popular multi-chain non-fungible token marketplace that allows users to buy, sell, and launch NFTs on blockchains like Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, and more. It provides features both for creators, such as a launchpad for new NFT projects and customizable royalties, and for collectors, with low fees and user-friendly tools.

By definition, Gifting is a new feature on Magic Eden that allows you to purchase Packs and send them to another wallet address! This feature supports: SOL NFT packs and Pokémon NFT packs. The NFT packs offered are delivered directly to the recipient and can be opened just like the packs they purchased themselves. Once gifted, the recipient will see the pack in their Gifts inbox and Packs page, where they can open it immediately or later.
How to send an NFT gift on Magic Eden
To successfully send an NFT gift on Magic Eden, it takes four steps. In the first step, an NFT user will need to go to Bundles, choose an NFT Bundle, and select the bundle they want to gift. On the gifts screen, a marketplace user can adjust the quantity, enter the recipient’s wallet address, and add an optional message. Finally, a marketplace user can view the giveaway details and approve the NFT transaction in their wallet. Once the transaction is confirmed, the NFT gift is sent. The offered pack will appear in the user’s gift history.
