The Ethereum Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of the Data Fusion Challenge 🐼.
The challenge ran for about 9 weeks around the merge, allowing data analysts to collect and review information before and after the big event. Participants submitted a treasure trove of data and analysis in 45 (!) different blog posts.
Have fun browsing through the many ideas, and since everything is open source, feel free to open source things and extend/modify the analysis!
Price
Awards are divided into three tiers, based on overall quality, scope, scalability, and usefulness to the community.
Gold ($30,000 price) 🥇
Silver ($10,000 prize) 🥈
Bronze ($2.5k prize) 🥉
Look forward to
The Merge Data Challenge has produced some great new tools, analyses, and visualizations. That said, there is still work to be done to monitor and understand Ethereum’s proof-of-stake network, particularly in the Beacon Chain consensus layer.
