Rarible, a renowned high-speed on-chain trading and non-fungible token marketplace platform, has launched one-of-a-kind on-chain storefronts. These branded modular spaces will allow non-fungible token traders to own their market presence, tell their stories, and engage communities in unique ways that go beyond normal trading. To create its first storefront, the Rarible NFT team partnered with VeeFriends.
Rarible launches on-chain storefronts
In an October 8 press release, the Rarible NFT team announced the launch of on-chain storefronts. By description, storefronts are modular branded spaces where creators and businesses can own their market presence, tell their story, and engage communities in a way that goes beyond normal commerce. For the first showcase, Rarible partnered with VeeFriends, a non-fungible token project from serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk.
Launched in 2021, Rarible is the on-chain trading platform powering the future of digital asset trading. Fast, multi-chain, and five-year tested, the Rarible NFT Marketplace provides the state-of-the-art infrastructure for on-chain marketplaces. The NFT trading platform also allows users to create, buy and sell NFTs, while letting the community govern the platform through the RARI token. Rarible supports various blockchain networks including Immutable X, Ethereum, RARI Chain, Base, Polygon, Immutable X, zkSync Era, zkCandy, Celo, and Moonbeam.
In its latest project, the Rarible NFT team launched Storefronts. This project came as consumers increasingly choose to shop online, which has driven significant traffic, with total e-commerce sales expected to reach $7.06 trillion by 2026. As more people go online, the experience evolves. Brands and creators are looking for new ways to engage their audiences, thereby attracting more people to own crypto and digital assets.
Introducing Rarible’s On-Chain Storefronts
Rarible’s storefronts are designed as digital stores and community hubs, giving NFT brands full ownership of their marketplace presence. They are modular, customizable, and packed with functionality for both primary sales and secondary commerce. Built-in storytelling tools allow businesses to feature videos, stories, and project updates directly in their store. Commenting on this project, Jonas Lamis, CEO of Rarible, said:
“As e-commerce grows on-chain, every brand will need its own on-chain presence – a space where they can sell, connect and tell their story without intermediaries,” said. Our storefronts make this possible, and we’re excited that VeeFriends is the first to launch it.
For the first branded store, Rarible partnered with the VeeFriends NFT team to create a branded hub for their universe of 250 characters that come to life through collectibles, comics, cartoons, and real-world experiences. The recently launched VeeFriends Wallet Powered by Privy is also integrated into the storefront as a login feature on Rarible. This allows users to connect with VeeFriends and seamlessly purchase digital collectibles with a credit card through their VeeFriends wallet on the Rarible NFT marketplace.
Before we wrap up, the Rarible NFT team confirmed that the launch of Stonywith VeeFriends is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, more iconic IPs and brands will debut on Rarible. From brand storefronts to custom integrations, Rarible is the global partner for brands including Mattel, McFarlane, Universal, FOX, Paris Saint-Germain, UFC, Rekt, Base, and Animoca Brands.
