London, United Kingdom, October 22 – The Ethereum Foundation is pleased to announce the principal speaker of the Ethereum annual conference Dξvcon1Nick Szabo. Nick’s Keynot will focus on the story of the blockchain, smart contracts and active on the blockchain.
Nick is a computer scientist, a legal academic and a cryptographer known for his research on digital contracts and digital currency. The expression and the concept of “intelligent contracts” were developed by Szabo in order to merge the law of contracts in the programming protocols on the Internet.
Recently, Szabo has contrasting the use of smart contracts on Ethereum compared to the Bitcoin blockchain: “If you want to have a flexible general use programming environment like programmers have been accustomed since the 1950s, then you will want to use Ethereum because it has a complete language and a great state. I sometimes compare a pocket calculator (Bitcoin) compared to a computer for general use (Ethereum).“”
The founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, noted: “We are delighted to welcome Nick to Dξvcon1. His pioneering work on intelligent contracts and the evolution of blockchain technology will add an extremely precious perspective to the conference. ”
DξVCON1 will take place from November 9 to 13 at the Gibson Hall in London, in the United Kingdom. It will include five days of technical presentations and events on research and basic protocols, the development of decentralized applications (DAPP) and the implications of industry and social.
Ethereum is a decentralized blockchain protocol that performs intelligent contracts: applications that work exactly as programmed without any possibility of stopping time, censorship, fraud or third interference.
Ethereum is how the internet was supposed to work.
