Paraguay’s National Energy Administration (ANDE) recently detected and seized an illegal bitcoin mining operation that housed 693 miners. ANDE inspectors detected a falsified meter that did not record all the energy consumed by the equipment connected to the electrical grid. The detection was carried out using SCADA systems.
