PI trading has been online since March 13, 2026.
To add an asset to your Kraken account, go to Funding, select the asset you are looking for and click “Deposit”.
Make sure to deposit your tokens on networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made via other networks will be lost.

Pi Network (PI)
Pi Network (PI) is a social cryptocurrency, development platform and ecosystem designed to
widespread accessibility and real-world usefulness. Founded in 2019 by Dr. Nicolas, a Stanford Ph.D.
Kokkalis and Dr. Chengdiao Fan, Pi Network allows users to mine Pi cryptocurrency from their
mobile phones using an energetic light extraction mechanism, without the need for expensive
hardware or high power consumption.
The network operates its own layer 1 blockchain using a consensus mechanism based on the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP), a system of federated Byzantine agreements. Pi Network is designed to rely on the collective contributions of community members, such as their Safety Circles or Pi Nodes, to grow and evolve. Pi
The network ecosystem is accessible via the Pi Browser (an application on iOS and Android) and
includes development tools such as Pi SDK and Pi App Studio for AI-assisted creation of
applications deployed to millions of Pi users. The PI token is the native cryptocurrency of the Pi
Network ecosystem.

Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is not to reveal any details until shortly before launch, including which assets we are considering. All available Kraken tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our announcement roadmap and social media profiles. Our customer engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about what assets we might make available in the future.
