Pre-search (https://presearch.com/), the privacy-focused profiling-free engine, today announced that its first Node NFT auction is now live, providing community operators and new participants an easy way to help power the network and earn rewards in return.
The auction introduces a community model linking digital art, network participation rights and decentralized infrastructure. It offers 142 unique NFTs from Wasteland Web collection by digital artist Smokenmirrors, illustrating a vision of the Internet free from algorithmic control. Each NFT is an art on its own, while also offering holders the opportunity to activate a node and earn network rewards once Presearch’s orchestration system goes live in a few weeks.
Unlike traditional digital art drops, each NFT also serves as a license key to operate a node under Presearch’s new node orchestration layer, the backbone of the upcoming Presearch 3.0 architecture. The orchestration system, detailed in the latest version of Presearch technical blog And Economic Nodes Webinarwill expand the network’s global mining and indexing capabilities through its innovative, decentralized and independent index named Indeedmaking it easier for users to operate nodes and contribute to the network.
“We’re scaling Indee, opening up the free web, and rewarding the people who run the compute that powers the network’s growth.” said Tim Enneking, CEO of Presearch.
How to participate:
Participants can join (here) by creating a Presearch account, depositing PRE tokens and bidding on the NFT(s) of their choice. The highest bidders at the close of the auction will receive their Node NFTs, which include the corresponding Node keys needed to operate on the orchestration layer when it launches.
NFT Power Presearch 3.0 nodes
The Node NFT auction marks the first phase of a broader rollout of Presearch 3.0, the next major update to the project’s architecture. The release includes a decentralized, real-time crawling, indexing, and retrieval system intended to support what the team calls “Frontier Intelligence,” or high-value, underrepresented content often overlooked by traditional search engines. By linking node licenses to NFTs, Presearch is testing a new model of permissionless participation, which combines network operations, artistic culture and economic incentives.
