Really disappointed in IvanOnTech – feels like he’s become just another opportunist

I’ve followed IvanOnTech for many years.

Back in the day, his content actually added value to the community. He shared insights, broke down complex crypto concepts, and felt like he genuinely wanted to educate and help people.

But over the past few years, it’s been hard to ignore how much things have changed. His focus seems to have shifted almost entirely towards sponsorships and affiliate deals (I mean, who would have surprised, right?)

Every other video or stream is pushing some partner or product, and it feels less about crypto education and market insights, and more about funneling his audience into whatever brings him revenue.

The final straw for me has been his endless “Altcoin webinar to make you rich by the end of 2026” promos. He keeps hyping them under different angles, but once you actually watch,

it’s the exact same recording from his first Bullmania webinar.

No new insights, no updates. Just recycled content packaged as something “fresh,” all while funneling people toward an insanely overpriced program.

I honestly hope no one falls for it and loses their money. Webinars can be useful (for both) when done right, but not when they rely on bait-and-switch tactics: promising a new angle, delivering nothing, and then using fear, FOMO, and emotional build-up to pressure people into buying. That’s not education – that’s f'n exploitation.

It’s disappointing to see someone who once built real trust in this space turn into just another commercial opportunist. He felt like one of those few creators/KOLs that weren't there only to monetize and scam viewers 100%, but to truly be of resource.

I get that everyone needs to make money, but this constant affiliate grind and repackaged webinars feel disingenuous and predatory towards the very audience that supported him for years.

I guess in the end, most crypto content creators, even the ones who once had real merit and valuable insights, eventually fall into the same category of opportunistic hyenas, fighting over every last scrap of their audience’s trust and flesh just to squeeze out a bit more profit.
