An analyst stressed that Shiba Inu is currently negotiating in a triangle model, which could set up a 17% decision for the same.
The price of 4 hours of Shiba Inu has been consolidated within a recently triangle
In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez spoke of a model that formed on the table of 4 hours of Shiba Inu recently. The model in question is a triangle of technical analysis (TA). This type of channel emerges when the price of an asset observes the consolidation between two lines of trend which converge at a common moment. The upper line of the pattern is likely to be a source of resistance, while the lower source is a source of support.
There are several types of triangles in TA, the most popular being the ascending, decreasing and symmetrical variations. The layout of the trend lines dictates the type of asset that the active follows.
When one of the lines of trends is parallel to the time axis, one of the first two appears. The upward variation is formed when consolidation is to a net upwards. In other words, when the upper line is flat and the lower one is sloping up. Likewise, the descending one implies the opposite orientation.
The third type, the symmetrical triangle, has the two trend lines inclined to an equal and opposite slope. In this variation, consolidation is narrowed up to a point in a lateral way.
In the patterns of the triangle, a rupture of one of the trend lines often ends up being around the same length as the height of the triangle (that is to say the distance between the upper line and lower than their extreme).
Now here is the graph shared by the analyst who shows the triangle that the price of 4 hours of Shiba Inu has progressed in recent weeks:
According to the graph, it seems that the triangle that Shiba Inu was recently was of the descending type, because its price has generally moved during this period. Based on the model, Martinez noted that Shib could go to a 17%swing.
But in what direction could this decision appear? Generally, a descending triangle is considered a continuation model for a downward trend. It can also, however, sometimes act as a reason for inversion, with an escape in the ascending direction instead.
At present, Shiba Inu is sitting near the median point between the two lines of trend. As such, it remains to be seen the two lines that he could then visit. As consolidation lengthens, the triangular canal only tightens, so in one way or another, a break can occur soon.
