The investor and billionaire of Crypto Barry Silbert says that there is a game of digital assets which, according to him, will be the “next major investment theme” for the asset class.
In a new interview with Raoul Pal on the YouTube channel Real Vision, Silbert says that he has created a new company called Yuma, which focuses exclusively on Bittensor (TAO), a decentralized network based on blockchain built for a global collaborative market for artificial intelligence (AI).
Said the CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG),
“I started to look in the whole space of decentralized AI and I started to dig on Bittensor, and I quickly came to the conclusion that from the point of view of the theme or the era, it was the next big era for the crypto.
I think this is the next major investment theme for Crypto, and there are a number of projects that have been launched. We have supported a certain number of them, but the one who during the year or the year and a half who reached the exhaust speed is Bittensor, and therefore I decided last year, we will do with Bittensor – Try to do with Bittensor what we did with Bitcoin.
We will invest in it, we will build it, we will help educate, raise awareness, create access. We launched a new company in the fall of last year Call Yuma, on which I put my jersey on, and I am the CEO of Yuma – I always do DCG – but I am back in the game and I now build this Yuma Busines which is concentrated exclusively on this Bittensor thing. “”
Bittensor’s ecosystem includes “subnets”, which are like independent segments dedicated to a certain task or service of AI. Silbert says that Yuma focused on the development of an “accelerator” to easily build new subnets on Dick.
He also says that one of his investment objectives is to find the “cornerbase”, the “bitgo” or the “analysis chain” of the Bittensor ecosystem.
