The Blockchain group (Euronext: Altbg) announced on Monday that it acquired 60 BTC for around 5.5 million euros at an average price of € 91,879 per Bitcoin. The acquisition brings the total Bitcoin assets of the company to 1,788 BTC worth 161.3 million euros on June 30, 2025, the company’s director of the company’s Bitcoin strategy, said Alexandre Liazet on Monday in a post.

The company listed by Paris has declared a bitcoin return of 1,270.7% up to date and 69.3% quarter to date. The company is described as the first Bitcoin Cash in Europe.
The latest Bitcoin purchase has been funded by several capital lifting activities completed in recent weeks. Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream, subscribed to 2,126,565 new ordinary shares at € 0.544 per share for a total of 1.16 million euros. The Tobam asset manager subscribed to 262,605 shares at the same price for € 142,857. These investments allowed the acquisition of 13 BTC for 1.19 million euros.
The company also converted BSA 2025-01 mandates into 1,101,175 new ordinary shares, raising € 600,000 and financing for the purchase of 6 BTC. In addition, the Blockchain group has completed an ATM -type capital increase program with Tobam at € 5.085 per share, raising € 4.1 million to acquire 41 BTC.
The Blockchain group declared Bitcoin gains of 508.3 BTC of year up to date and 429.5 BTC quarter up to date. In terms of euro, the company has recorded gains of 46.7 million euros to date and 39.5 million euros.
The company’s current Bitcoin holdings have an average acquisition price of € 90,213 by Bitcoin. The Blockchain group and its subsidiary The Luxembourg Blockchain group its jointly hold the 1,788 BTC.
The company operates subsidiaries focused on data intelligence, AI and decentralized technological advice and development. The company’s Bitcoin Treasury Strategy aims to increase Bitcoin by share entirely diluted over time.
