Islamabad: the World Liberty Financial (WLF), the decentralized finance platform (DEFI) supported by US President Donald Trump, signed a letter of intent (law) with Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) to accelerate the innovation of the blockchain, the adoption of stablecoin and the integration of challenge through Pakistan.
According to a declaration published by the Ministry of Finance on Saturday, a WLF delegation, including Zachary Folkman, Zachary Witkoff (son of Steve Witkoff, who is an American special envoy in the Middle East), and Chase Herro, met the leadership of Pakistan to formalize digital cooperation, marking a major stage towards Pakistan as a world leader digital financial.
Pakistan management included the Prime Minister, the Chief of the Army Staff, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Information and the Minister of Defense, according to the press release.
Pakistan’s proactive approach demonstrates its commitment to adopt the next wave of financial innovation. The Government has reported plans to announce complete policies for the legalization of cryptography, further strengthening Pakistan’s position as one of the fastest growth cryptographic markets in the world. The law was signed during the WLF and PCC meeting. The Minister of Finance of Pakistan, CEO of the Council, Governor of the SBP, President SECP and Federal Secretary for IT were present. The scope of cooperation between Pakistan Crypto Council and World Liberty Financial describes collaboration in key areas. The fields include the launch of regulatory sand bins for blockchain financial products, facilitating the responsible growth of DEFI protocols, exploring the tokénisation of active world, such as real estate and products. It also includes the expansion of stable coins applications for funding and trade and the supply of strategic advice on blockchain infrastructure and global regulatory trends. Pakistan offers one of the most promising digital savings in the world, with more than 64% of its population under the age of 30. The country ranks among the best in the world adoption of cryptography, with around $ 300 billion in annual cryptographic transactions and 25 million active cryptography users.
