We are delighted to announce a new Williams Racing Collectibles+ collection, Cosmos. Available exclusively to Grid Pass holders, ownership of this limited edition profile picture (PFP) will enter you into our second annual Rear Wing Takeover Competition.

The Cosmos Collection

We sent 100,000 Williams Racing Cosmos digital collectibles to Grid Pass holders for free. The collection was conceptualized and implemented by DeGods and y00ts’ talented lead artist: Candy Apple.

The collection features over 130 unique traits incorporated into the iconic Williams Racing brand across 10 different character types, ranging from cats to dragons to krakens.

Rear Wing Rebuild Competition

Cosmos owners can submit their PFP for consideration to be added to the rear wing of Williams Racing’s FW46 challengers and displayed at the 2024 Formula 1 Pirelli United States Grand Prix in Austin, TX on October 20, 2024.

In collaboration with Williams Racing, we will select 12 finalists. The global fan community will then vote for their favourite finalists, and the six finalists with the most votes will have their Cosmos on display in Austin.

How to participate the competition

QUALIFYING ROUND

Submit your application for consideration (September 9-15, 2024)

To be in with a chance of having your Cosmos featured in the 12 finalists, start by filling out the contest entry form. Kraken and Williams Racing will review all entries and narrow the field down to 12. These 12 finalists will be announced on the website @krakenfx And @WilliamsRacing X Accounts (Twitter) on September 16, 2024.

COMPETITION SEMI-FINALS

The race for votes for the Cosmos (from September 16 to 21, 2024)

From the 12 finalists, six will be chosen as the winners. The power to choose the winners lies with you, the community. Voting for your favourite top 12 contenders will be open on the Rear Wing Takeover website from 16th to 21st September 2024. The six digital collectibles with the most community votes will earn a spot on the Williams Racing FW46 challengers.

Eligibility: For full terms and conditions and eligibility criteria please see Williams Racing’s Terms and Conditions.

What is a Grid Pass?

At the 2023 Lenovo Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, Williams Racing and Kraken introduced Grid Pass, an all-access digital collectible that unlocked benefits for pass holders. At the 2023 Lenovo Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, pass holders competed to have their digital collectible featured on the rear wing of Williams Racing’s F1 cars during a live race, viewable by the world.

The race was preceded by a community mobilization with dozens of digital collection fandoms and over 1,000 individual entries. After narrowing down the field, tens of thousands of votes were cast to select the winners.

Over the past year, Kraken has hosted several Williams Racing Fan Zones, where fans enrolled in the Williams Racing Collectibles+ program have gained exclusive access to discounts on merchandise, driver meet-and-greets and more using their Grid Pass.
