Washington, DC – (Newsfile Corp. – May 5, 2025) – The Crypto Working Group of Securities and Exchange Commission announced the agenda and the panelists for its round table of May 12, “Tokenization – Assets in moving: where Tradfi and Defi meet”.
“Tokenization is a technological development which could considerably change many aspects of our financial markets,” said Commissioner Hester Mr. Peirce, head of the Crypto working group. “I can’t wait to hear ideas from our panelists about how dry should approach this area.”
The round table, announced in March as part of a series on the regulation of crypto assets, will be held at the SEC headquarters at 100 F Street, NE, Washington, DC from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the event will be open to the public and live on the SEC website. The doors will open at 12 p.m.
For online attendance, registration is not necessary; A link to watch the event will be available on May 12 on www.sec.gov. Please register for attendance in person.
In addition, the date of the round table of the crypto working group, “Defi and the American Spirit”, was modified from June 6 to June 9. All those who previously registered were informed of the change of date, and their registrations continued on the new date. New registrations can continue to be completed.
