
The team of confidentiality and scale explorations of the Ethereum Foundation (PSE) has unveiled a new roadmap which approaches confidentiality as a central component of the future of Ethereum. Represented as the “Intendants of Ethereum confidentiality”, the group stressed that the application of a vast confidentiality functionality is a fundamental requirement for the blockchain network, citing an increase in global recognition.

In the blog post published on September 13, the PSE team explains that the new confidentiality roadmap positions its division as a “first” team, focused on the clarification of operational gaps and the facilitation of collaborations with the developers of the ecosystem, which puts confidentiality at the center of the Ethereum application.
At the heart of this approach are three areas of exploration, namely private scriptures, private readings and private prouvance. For the context, private entries aim to carry out actions on the chain such as affordable and transparent transfers and governance votes, while private readings protect the identities and intention of users when accessing applications or questioning of the chain, an area where sensitive metadata flees leaks.
In terms of private prouvance, the PES aims to ensure that generation and verification of evidence becomes both effective and confessing confidentiality. The initiative is designed to allow users to confirm information on different platforms that can check the chain and out-of-channel states, web data, documents and identity certificates without exposing unnecessary information.
The main initiatives at the moment
Looking at the next 3-6 months, Ethrereum’s privacy agents have described several essential concrete priorities to carry out the three main tracks previously indicated. On private entries, the PES plans to advance transfers compatible with confidentiality through projects such as Plasmafold and Kohaku, while putting forward work on furtive addresses and private voting protocols.
These efforts also extend to Confidential Defi, where the team aims to work with partners to establish confidentiality executives who could unlock institutional adoption. Regarding private readings, Ethereum confidentiality agents will assess protections in the advanced network by experimenting with Oram and PIR to protect the activity of surveillance users.
Efforts to make private proof will include progress protocols that make data portability and provenance more reliable via ZKTLS. By optimizing the TlSnotary and developing an SDK for the integration of the platform, the PSE aims to simplify adoption and accelerate the growth of the ZKTLS ecosystem. In parallel, work on private identity would seek to establish new standards for portfolios preserving confidentiality and non -linked identification information on world executives.
