The Paris Week Blockchain, the flagship event of the European Blockchain, announced the winners of the start in block Start in block competition this year, distributing a range of awards to the 12 finalists and 3 winning startups, for more than $ 10 million in the form of funding, subsidies, acceleration, lists and more.
The start of competition from blocks has become an essential event in the blockchain industry, and one of the most prestigious and convinced prices for startups, entrepreneurs and investors. A direct competition which opposes some of the most promising web3 projects against each other, the objective of the competition is to highlight new revolutionary initiatives with enormous potential to have a positive and real impact.
This year, more than 1,000 startups have applied, the first 100 obtaining a precious exhibition and direct comments from many influential investors in the blockchain industry. Then, the 12 favorite startups had the exclusive opportunity to present their projects on April 10 to more than 500 potential investors, including venture capital, accelerators, providential investors and DAO representatives. For investors, competition has offered unique opportunities to identify and invest in high potential web3 startups, generate a skilled transaction flow and promote significant connections with talented entrepreneurs.
The 12 finalists competed on three distinct tracks: DEFI, AI and the game and the consumer. The winners of each track, who had the exclusive opportunity to go on the main scene in front of the eminent judges Jakub Rusiecki (1K (x)), Ashley Oulang (Crypto.com) and Alix Musset (Aptos Labs), were:
