In the middle of a broader recovery in the cryptocurrency market, the burning rate of Shiba Inu SHIB / USD saw a spectacular increase of 580%.
What happened: A significant increase in the burning rate and the price of the Shiba Inu token, despite a drop in volume. The data from the Shibburn blockchain follow -up company indicates an increase of 580.28% in the shib burning rate in the last day.
This increase coincides with an increase of 4.27% of the overall market capitalization of cryptography. The price of SHIB also followed this upward trend, increasing by 5.89% during the same period.
The SHIB team would have burned 16,607,692 Shib in the last 24 hours, an increase of 590.19% compared to the day before. This token combustion strategy is designed to reduce food in circulation and create a rarity.
However, despite the daily increase, the Weekly Shibdedaire Burning Rate has experienced a significant drop. Data show a decrease of 57.86% compared to the previous week. Despite the increase in the rate and price of shib burns, its negotiation volume remains low, which has shown concerns among investors. Coinmarketcap data show a significant collapse of 21.54% in the commercial volume of SHIB on April 11.
Why it matters: The increase in the shib burning rate arrives at a time when the cryptocurrency market experiences a rebound. This could be a strategic decision of the SHIB team to capitalize on the upward trend in the market and stimulate additional growth.
