The global crypto market capitalization today stands at nearly $3.1 trillion. It is down about 1.7% to 1.8% over the past 24 hours, according to live charts from CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap, creating a bureaucratic backdrop where relative strength matters more than absolute gains.
However, Solana demonstrates strong fundamentals despite the decline. Here’s why ChatGPT thinks so, based on recent on-chain activity and news.

This price action comes one trading session after the Solana US Cash ETFs recorded its largest daily net outflow of $32.19 million on December 3. 21Shares’ TSOL repurchased $41.79 million. At the same time, Bitwise’s BSOL still attracted $5.57 million in new capital.
On-chain, Solana has seen approximately $321 million in net inflows over the past month, with more than $240 million coming from Ethereum, according to flow trackers referenced in Whale Alert’s Solana ETF Flow Report.
Since the peak of meme coins on Solana, active addresses have fallen to their lowest level in several months. Derivatives positioning remains net long but less aggressive than in October, consistent with investor funding data showing favorable but slowing rates. The reset comes with declining exchange balances and stable returns from on-chain staking on SOL, which ETF data supports with persistent net inflows into staking-enabled products such as Bitwise’s BSOL, now above $580 million in historical net inflows.
Will Solana surpass its ATH in 2025?
Myriad Prediction Markets puts a roughly 95% chance that SOL will fail to surpass its all-time high near $295.40 before the end of the year. This comes even as the token trades more than 40% above its fourth-quarter low, around $96, and continues to attract RWA pilots, base-Solana bridges, and new DEX launches.
