Devcon addresses topics and themes that are crucial in the Ethereum ecosystem right now, addressing challenges, ongoing developments, and Ethereum’s core values. Sessions will include talks, workshops, panels, and more, from beginner to expert level.
- Basic protocol:For over 10 years, researchers and developers have been working to create and improve Ethereum to make it as decentralized, resilient, and secure a protocol as possible. What are the latest research findings, planned EIPs for implementation, and suggestions for the roadmap?
- Layer 2:Ethereum is evolving into a rapid deployment-centric ecosystem, ready to welcome billions of people. Since the arrival of blobs in March of this year, what remains to be done to scale Ethereum to billions?
- Developer Experience: Developing on Ethereum is easier than ever; what are the latest tools and best practices for developers? How can we make it even better?
- Coordination:How can we use Ethereum to improve the way we coordinate on the internet?
- Cypherpunk and Privacy:What values make Ethereum special, why are they important to society, and how do we make it Cypherpunk again?
- Applied cryptography:Cryptography is the backbone of cryptography, and primitives like ZKP, MPC, FHE and many others are advancing rapidly. How can we apply these primitives to realize real-world use cases that were not possible before?
- Security:Our ecosystem has improved significantly to prevent hacks and attacks, but there is still much to do. What are the latest best practices, recommendations, and security tools to make Ethereum applications even more secure?
- Ethereum in the real world:Ethereum has reached a level of maturity that allows us to create real-world applications that can have a positive impact in the long term. What types of applications can we create using Ethereum and what are the tips for creating them?
- Ease of use:Mass adoption won’t happen without a good user experience. How do we improve the user experience of Ethereum, L2s, and applications?
- Cryptoeconomics:Cryptoeconomics is an emerging field that allows us to build robust decentralized networks with strong incentives for participants, in complex environments. What are the latest research findings and best practices in this field?

Raffle and Auction Ticket Wave
As we did for Devcon VI, we will once again be offering an on-chain raffle-auction as the first wave of tickets. We want to continue to demonstrate the power of Ethereum to run provably verifiable raffles and auctions, while also expanding the methods we use to distribute tickets to the thousands of people who want to attend each year.
204 tickets will be offered during the raffle-auction this year. the 20 highest bids will win the auction. Those who participate with the minimum bid or do not win the auction will be entered into the drawing and have a chance to win. one of 184 Devcon tickets currently being distributedIn this sense, we want the distribution result to be about 10% efficient and 90% fair.
A big thank you to the Fairy & Arch block teams for dedicating their time to the success of this year’s iteration.
Rules of participation
Network — Arbitration
Minimum offer — 0.08 ETH (equivalent to the $299 price of a discounted Builder Ticket at the time of publication).
All auction proceeds above the reserve price will be used to help people attend Devcon through funding programs like the EF Next Billion Scholarship Program and other Devcon initiatives. If you bid above the reserve price but don’t win When bidding, you will be automatically directed to the raffle to get a ticket. If you win the raffle, you will be able to withdraw any funds above the reserve price. If you do not win either the raffle or the auction, you will be able to withdraw all of your funds.
