About the yield basis
YieldBasis is a DeFi protocol created by the founder of Curve Finance. It introduces a new way for BTC and ETH holders to earn sustainable returns by eliminating fleeting losses with a 2x leveraged Curve LP strategy.
The YB token powers this system, allowing participants to access liquidity-providing strategies and unlock yield-bearing tokenized assets like ybBTC and ybETH.
Please note:
- If you participated in the token sale, your YB tokens have already been credited to your Kraken wallet. They will become tradable once the markets are operational.
- Trading through the Kraken app and instant buying will be available once liquidity conditions are met.
- Geographic restrictions may apply.
YieldBasis marks the first-ever project on Kraken Launch – our new compliant, fair and transparent token sales platform powered by Legion.
With Kraken Launch you can:
- Get early access to projects before they are traded elsewhere
- Buy tokens at a fixed price
- Pay no trading fees when you subscribe to Kraken+
Future sales will be announced via the Kraken Launch and Kraken X account.

Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is not to reveal any details until shortly before launch, including which assets we are considering. All available Kraken tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our announcement roadmap and social media profiles. Our customer engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about what assets we might make available in the future.
